Vasectomy in Fishers, IN | No-Scalpel, Cash-Pay | Dr. Linke

Serving Fishers, Carmel, Noblesville & the northeast Indy metro
$950 All-Inclusive Cash-Pay

If you live on the northeast side of the Indianapolis metro, you do not have to drive downtown — or settle for whoever your clinic refers you to — to have a vasectomy done right. Dr. Colin Linke, a board-certified urologist with more than 1,000 vasectomies behind him, sees patients at our Fishers office on Southeastern Parkway, minutes off I-69 and Olio Road.

In the Indy metro, cash-pay vasectomy pricing commonly reaches $1,000 or more once everything is counted. Here the total is $950, and it is genuinely a total: consultation, the no-scalpel procedure, nitrous-oxide comfort, every follow-up visit, and semen testing repeated until a zero sperm count is documented in your chart. Nothing arrives as a bill later.

Just as important is how the procedure is done. Each vas deferens is divided, sealed with cautery, and separated by a closed layer of fascia — the occlusion technique associated with the lowest failure rates in the urologic literature, on the order of one in two thousand.

I couldn't believe it. I got in there and was immediately seen and they actually asked me if I wanted to see the doctor or a nurse practitioner and of course I chose the doctor. I'm glad I did. He listened. He listened, he understood, and he treated the patient and not the protocol. I would highly recommend this physician to anyone needing a urologist

Dr Linke and his staff are exceptional people. They are kind, courteous, and professional. The receptionist Emily, PA Brittni, techs Jacob and Heather went above and beyond what I have experienced at other medical offices. I live out of state and was home helping my 94 yr old dad and my 90 yr old mother navigate through the medical quagmire they are currently working through. I left Dr Linke's office knowing they are in great hands.

I went here for a vasectomy and the experience was amazing. Calling beforehand was easy and whether on the phone or in person all the of staff was so kind and cheerful. Everyone is patient and understanding, very communicative, and they know how to put you at ease and make the whole experience as relaxing as possible. Scheduling was super fast and easy, can't recommend them enough.

Why Men From the Indy Metro Choose Dr. Linke

The No-Scalpel Opening

Instead of an incision, a pointed instrument spreads the skin to create one opening about the size of a pencil eraser. It heals in three to five days and closes with a single dissolvable suture — no stitches to remove, no return trip for that.

Nitrous Oxide for Comfort

A 70/30 nitrous oxide and oxygen mix is available through a handheld mouthpiece for the length of the procedure. You control it yourself, it wears off within minutes, and you can drive yourself home afterward.

Why men use it:

Comfort Gas — Included in the Price

The nitrous comfort option is part of the $950 whether or not you end up using it. It is never billed as an add-on at this office.

Insurance at the Fishers Office

Most plans cover vasectomy; your out-of-pocket depends on your deductible and copay. Call the number on your card and ask about CPT code 55250, or ask our staff to help you check. Curious how the numbers compare across the state? See our guide: How Much Does a Vasectomy Cost in Indiana?

$950 Flat. Here Is the Whole List.

One number covers:

  • Your consultation with Dr. Linke
  • The no-scalpel vasectomy itself
  • Nitrous-oxide comfort during the procedure
  • All post-procedure visits
  • Semen analysis, repeated until a zero count is documented

In the Indianapolis metro, quotes that look lower — and quotes that look similar — often cover the procedure alone. The fair comparison is always the total.

What Your Visit Looks Like

Before

Dr. Linke reviews your history, walks through the procedure, and answers every question before you sign anything. Shave the area one to two days ahead, and hold blood thinners only if your prescribing physician approves.

The procedure

Comfort gas first if you want it, then local numbing medicine. The vasectomy itself takes about fifteen minutes. Expect a sensation of gentle pulling rather than pain, and one small dissolvable suture at the end.

After

Ice, supportive underwear, and over-the-counter pain medicine cover most of it. Soreness typically fades within one to three days, and desk work is realistic within two to three.

Frequently asked questions

What does a vasectomy cost in Fishers?

$950, all-inclusive, cash-pay — consultation, procedure, comfort gas, follow-ups, and semen testing until clearance. Most insurance plans also cover vasectomy; what you pay then depends on your deductible and copay. For a statewide breakdown of what drives vasectomy pricing, see How Much Does a Vasectomy Cost in Indiana?

Where is the office?

13914 Southeastern Parkway, Suite 301 — Pod B, Fishers, IN 46037 — just off I-69, an easy drive from Carmel, Noblesville, Geist, Fortville, and the north side of Indianapolis. Call 260-702-9515.

Will it hurt?

Most men describe pressure and a brief pulling sensation rather than pain. Between the local anesthetic and the nitrous comfort gas, the most common reaction afterward is some version of “that was it?”

How reliable is the result?

Better than 99% once lab testing confirms it. The specific technique used here — cautery of the vas lumen plus fascial interposition — carries the lowest failure rates reported in the urologic literature, roughly one in two thousand.

When can I stop using other contraception?

Only after a semen analysis, about eight weeks out, documents a zero sperm count. If sperm persist, testing is simply repeated at no charge until the result is clear.

How fast can I get in?

Within two weeks, guaranteed. Ask our scheduler about the next available Fishers date when you call.
